\"\"2000 people rioted today, at least 40 people were injured & thousands of police were called to quell the upsurge. This wasn’t on the High St but at Apple’s main manufacturing site, Foxconn, in China.<\/p>\n

Whilst Apple disciples queued at Western Apple stores to purchase the latest iconic product workers on the other side of the world were embroiled in a mass brawl.<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time Foxconn has been involved in controversy – there was massive concern over a number of workers suicides allegedly related to the companies working conditions.<\/p>\n

Companies need to chose their outsource partners with great care, the repercussions could be more than financial.<\/p>\n
