This is understandable given the severity of the recession as many companies are still in cost cutting mode &#8211; but there is one possible solution.<\/p>\n<p>Many organizations are now recruiting freelance engineers and project <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-45\" title=\"Office1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amberhill.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Office1.jpg\" alt=\"Office1\" width=\"120\" height=\"96\" \/>managers on fixed term contracts. This allows them to tailor their costs very carefully without having to worry about a long term commitment to the individual.\u00a0 It also removes any concerns about severance pay or pension commitments.<\/p>\n<p>Of course there are also benefits to the freelancer.
